What is St. Patrick's Day and why is it celebrated?


St. Patrick's Day is a religious feast day in Irish culture celebrated on March 17 every year in the memory of St. Patrick. March 17 is the official death date of St. Patrick, who was a primary saint and bishop of Ireland.
