This year Private Island Entertainment teamed up with the Henry Street Settlement for a Leap Day-themed Costume Party extravaganza. It only comes every four years so why not?

The Henry Street Settlement has a rich history and deep roots in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The Settlement delivers a wide range of social service and arts programs to more than 50,000 New Yorkers each year, challenging the effects of urban poverty by helping families achieve better lives for themselves and their children. Private Island is honored to host this event for the kids of the Henry Street Settlement. As a family owned, New York City-based company, Private Island has a lot in common with the Henry Street Settlement, both are distinguished by a profound connection to its neighbors, a strong record of accomplishment, and a willingness to address new problems with swift and innovative solutions. In Private Island’s case we’re just talking about throwing the best parties possible, but memory making events do have a lasting impact.

During the day’s festivities, participants participated in a costume scavenger hunt, face painting, and green screen pictures.
